One of the little round feet came off the bottom of the case and was glued back on. You can’t beat this guitar for sound and playability under $1000! Comes with Ovation hardshell case with blackish gray plush lining that fits the guitar like a glove. Shallow bowl makes it comfortable to play close to your body. Great acoustic guitar for player that switches back and forth between electric and acoustic due to the U shaped neck. I recommend this guitar for the working musician. The action on this guitar is amazing for an accoustic. This guitar will produce an authentic acoustic sound at a loud volume. The OP-24+ preamp is dead silent, there's no noise at all when moving the EQ sliders. It's even better plugged in! Everything in perfect working condition.

WELL THEY SAT THEY GET BETTER WITH AGE AND THIS ONE IS NO EXCEPTION(WHICH IS NOT THE CASE WITH THE PLAYER) IT HAS A COUPLE OF SURFACE CRACKS IN THE MAIN FACE BUT THAT WAS VERY TYPICAL OF THE DESIGN AS THE FIBRE GLASS BODY EXPANDS AND CONTRACTS AT DIFFERING RATES TO THE WOOD. IT HAS AN EXTRA SMALL HOLE IN THE BODY FOR THE PICK UP THAT WAS FITTED FOR STAGE USE BUT SUBSEQUENTLY REMOVED.
IT COMES WITH A NEW OVATION CASE AS THE OLD ONE LOOKED FORGETTABLE AND HAD PASSED IT'S PRIME. THIS IS ALL IN THE 1970'S AND I HAVE PLAYED IT IN FOLK CLUBS EVER SINCE.
